Corrosion Inhibitor for Special Applications
General information:
Pachem-CI_AC1 is a corrosion inhibitor used to protect the installation against the effects of aqueous solutions of inorganic acids, concentrated salt solutions or sea water. It is a preparation offering corrosion protection, especially in systems containing chloride ions, as well as CO2, H2S. Specially selected components of the corrosion inhibitor create a permanent passivation layer on the protected surfaces and counteract the formation of pores even in very aggressive environments. It is a mixture of corrosion inhibitors and surfactants dissolved in alcohol / alcohols. Pachem-CI_AC1 is a clear, homogeneous liquid that maintains its form in a wide range of temperatures from -30 °C to + 55 °C.

Application:
Pachem-CI_AC1 is intended for use in sea water, aqueous acid solutions and concentrated salt solutions used, among others, in in descaling systems.
• it is well soluble in water
• creates a durable, thin protective layer on metal surfaces
• its unique anti-corrosion properties provide protection against the formation of corrosion pores even in a very aggressive environment (e.g. aqueous HCl solutions)
Treat Rate:
Usually, it should be used in a concentration of 0.2-2.0%, most preferably 0.5-1.0 [m/m], depending on the environment. The dosage must be carefully selected each time depending on the type of corrosive environment (acid and/or salt concentration).
The product may be slightly cloudy under storage conditions, which does not deteriorate its effectiveness in any way. It is recommended to homogenize the product (mix it) immediately before use.
Packaging:
Pachem-CI_AC1 available in 200-litre barrels or 1000-litre tanks. Other types of packaging are available on request.
