Pachem P-501
Inhibitor Paraffin
General Information:
Most crude oils include paraffin that crystallize in low temperature to create clusters, precipitated in the form of sediments and making the free flow of oil more difficult. The paraffin inhibitor Pachem P-501 is a mixture of surface-active agents, dissolved in organic solvent. Pachem P-501 lowers cloud point and flow temperature of crude oil. It provides perfect dispergation of paraffins present in crude oil, prevents creation of clusters and sediments on the surfaces of pipelines. Pachem P-501 is a clear, homogenous liquid with a wide temperature range of -30°C to +55°C.

Application:
Pachem P-501 is dosed to wellheads and transmission pipelines.
• it lowers cloud point and pour point of crude oil
• it avoids the agglomeration and stabilizes the dispersion of wax crystals in crude oil
• it prevents the settlement of paraffin on machinery working in wellbores
• it prevents the settlement of paraffin on the surface of transmission pipelines
• due to the inhibitors exceptional properties crude oil viscosity is lowered thus facilitating its free flow
Treat rate:
Pachem P-501 is dosed continually into machinery working in wellbores and transmission pipelines in amount of 200-750 ppm (by weight).
Packaging:
Pachem P-501 is available in 200-litre barrels or 1000-litre tanks. Other types of packaging are available on request.
