Pachem-P525
Surfactant - Paraffin Inhibitor
General Information:
Most crude oils include paraffin that crystallize in low temperature to create clusters, precipitated in the form of sediments and making the free flow of oil more difficult. The paraffin inhibitor Pachem-P525 is a mixture of surface-active agents, dissolved in organic solvent. Pachem-P525 lowers cloud point and flow temperature of crude oil. It provides perfect dispergation of paraffin present in crude oil, prevents creation of clusters and sediments on the surfaces of pipelines. Pachem-P525 is a clear, homogenous liquid with a wide temperature range of -30°C to +55°C.

Vsicosity at 20 ºC | mm2/s | < 5 | PN-EN ISO 3104:2004 |
Application:
Pachem-P525 is dosed to wellheads and transmission pipelines.
• it lowers cloud point and pour point
• it avoids the agglomeration and stabilizes the dispersion of paraffin crystals
• it prevents the settlement of paraffin on machinery working in wellbores
• it prevents the settlement of paraffin on the surface of transmission pipelines
• due to the unique properties of inhibitors for crude the oil viscosity is lowered which facilitates its free flow
Treat rate:
Pachem-P525 is dosed continually into machinery working in wellbores and transmission pipelines in amount of 50-750 ppm (by weight). Individual adjustment of the dosage amount is recommended.
It is preferably to dose Pachem-P525 to oil at a temperature above 50 °C or heat oil with Pachem-P525 to this temperature.
Packaging:
Pachem-P525 is available in 200-litre barrels or 1000-litre tanks. Other types of packaging are available on request.
