General Information:
DR_281_20 is an innovative demulsifier for the desalination of paraffin crude oil with an API index above 40 °, for electrodehydrators in refineries, which effectively desalinates crude oil and additionally prevents corrosion and the formation of mineral deposits and paraffin-asphaltene deposits. The demulsifier efficiently removes salt from paraffin oil to <10 ppm in electrodehydrators in refineries. Salt in crude oil is a corrosive agent and causes enormous damage to refinery installations at various stages of crude oil processing. Moreover, the demulsifier prevents the formation of mineral and paraffin-asphaltene deposits on EDH and supports the operation during further processing of crude oil. Its next important task is to reduce the content of hydrocarbons and COD (chemical oxygen demand) in the water after leaving the electrodehydrators.

Application:
DR_281_20 is designed for electrodehydrators in the refining and oil extraction industries - for continuous dosing.
Before directing DR_281_20 to a specific refinery/mine, it is advisable to evaluate its functional properties and dosing from samples of crude oil / water obtained in EDH installation of the specific refinery / mine.
Treat rate:
Continuously 5 - 15 ppm, based on the volume of crude oil and water.
Packaging:
DR_281_20 is available in 200 liter drums or 1000 liter IBCs. Other types of packaging are available on request.
