Pachem-Dcold
Cold Flow Improver
General Information:
Pachem-DCold contains substances that lower the freezing point of the paraffin beeing in diesel fuel as well as it contains an additive increasing the cetane number of fuel so that makes the cold starting Diesel engine easier even at – 30 ºC. It prevents the precipitation of paraffin crystals causing the fuel’s filter blockage. In addition, Pachem-DCold reduces excessive noise of the motor as well as reduces smokiness during start-up. Pachem-DCold is a clear, homogeneous, amber liquid remaining stable in a wide range of temperatures.
Typical Physical and Chemical Properties:
Parameter | Unit | Value | Test method |
---|---|---|---|
Colour, at 20 ºC | - | Amber | PB-01 - Edition 1 |
Density at 15 ºC | kg/m3 | 850 - 900 | PN-EN ISO 12185:2002 |
Pour Point | ºC | < -30 | PN-EN ISO 3016:2005 |
Flash Point | ºC | > 23 | PN-EN ISO 2719:2016 |
Viscosity at 40 ºC | mm2/s | < 2 | PN-EN ISO 3104:2004 |
Application:
Pachem-DCold simplifying the cold starting is designed for use in the winter with all species of Diesels fuels. The addition should be applied preventively before the paraffin precipitates will occur and the fuel filter will be blocked.
Treat rate:
Typical dosage of Pachem-DCold is one packaging (250 ml) per one fuel tank (about 60 liters). The treat rate should be adjusted to the quality of base fuel.
Packaging:
Pachem-DCold is available in bulk, 200 l barrels, or 1000-litre tanks (IBC). Other types of packaging are available on request.
