PACHEM-DCFI-3
Cold Flow Improver for Diesel Fuels
General information:
Pachem-DCFI-3 it is the new generation additive for Diesel fuels and middle distillates which prevents the paraffin precipitation and thereby it improves fluidity at low temperatures. The additive is cold flow improver of WAFI type. Thanks to its modified formula it works even more effectively reducing cold filter plugging point (CFPP) - a temperature at which there can occur interferences in fuel supply into engine in feed systems equipped with filter screen. Pachem-DCFI-3 is liquid with amber colour.
Typical Physical And Chemical Properties:
Parameter | Unit | Value | Test method |
---|---|---|---|
Appearance at 20 ºC | - | Amber | PB-01 - wydanie 1 |
Density at 15 ºC | kg/m3 | 870 - 910 | PN-EN ISO 12185:2002 |
Pour point | ºC | < -25 | PN-ISO 3016:2005 |
Flash point | ºC | > 23 | PN-EN ISO 2719:2007 |
Viscosity at 40 ºC | mm2/s | < 7 | PN-EN ISO 3104:2004 |
Application:
Pachem DCFI-3 is intended to improve such properties of middle distillates as fluidity at low temperatures. The package reduces cold filter plugging point adjusting the properties at low temperatures to application in winter conditions.
Treat Rate:
Typical dosage of Pachem-DCFI-3 is 600-1000 ppm weight. The recommended dosage is 800 ppm. The final dosage should be adjusted to the quality and composition of base fuel as well as to the expected low-temperature properties. It is recommended the individually adjustment of the dosage. The Pachem-DCFI-3 should be dosed into the fuel at a temperature at least 10 ° C higher than is its cloud point. Otherwise, its efficiency of CFPP may be significantly lower.
Packaging:
Pachem DCFI-3 is available in bulk, 200 l barrels, or 1000-litre tanks (IBC). Other types of packaging are available on request.
