Multifunctional Winter Addive Package for RME Bioesters with Biocide
General information:
Alpocid-BDZ (Pachem-BZ) is a multifunctional winter type additive package for of RME and FAME bio-ester fuels. It contains Cold Flow Improver used to enhance low-temperature properties as well as composition of antioxidant, anti-corrosion active and antifoam agents . Alpocid-BDZ is an amber-colour liquid with high viscosity.

Application:
Alpocid-BDZ is intended for improving bioesters based on rapeseed oil (RME) and other fatty oils (FAME). The package improves the many physical and chemical properties of biofuels and protects them during a long storage period.The microbiological additive included in the package protects fuel products and fuel storage tanks against the development of microbial flora (bacteria, fungi, algae, yeast).The bioester protected with the package is characterized by high oxidation stability and does not show corrosive properties. The great advantage of the Alpocid-BDZ winter package is a significant reduction in the temperature of blocking the cold filter (CFPP) and the flow temperature of the bioester. Depending on the type of oil from which the bioester was made, the depressant contained in the package can reduce CFPP to temperatures well below -20 °C and even to - 30 °C.
Treat Rate:
The Alpocid-BDZ dosage is 1800-2500 ppm by weight. In the case of fatty acids methyl esters of rapeseed oil(RME), the recommended dose is 2200-2300 ppm m / m, depending on the initial bioester properties and the low temperature properties assumed. In the case of esters other than RME, individual selection of the dosage quantity is recommended.The product contains high molecular weight polymer components that require homogenization for long-term storage. Therefore, the product should be heated and mixed before use. The necessity of homogenization does not make worse the performance of the product. For easier use and storage, the product may be previously dissolved (so-called pre-mix eg 1: 1 in RME). The dose should then be modified accordingly.
Packaging:
Alpocid-BDZ is available in 200 l barrels, in bulk or 1000-litre tanks (IBC). Other types of packaging are available on request.
