Corrosion Inhibitor for Use in the Refining Industry
General information:
Pachem-CWR-1011-A is an oil-dispersible-water-soluble corrosion inhibitor for use in the mining industry for continuous dosing, for the protection of wells, mining machines and crude oil transport pipelines in oil and gas mines. Pachem-CWR-1011-A is a film forming corrosion inhibitor. It contains ingredients that create a durable anti-corrosion coating on the surface of the installation and ingredients neutralizing corrosive agents contained in crude oil. The created protective film protects against the action of hydrogen sulphide H2S, carbon dioxide CO2 and chlorides, preventing pitting and preventing uniform corrosion.

Application:
Provides maximum corrosion protection even with extremely high water content in hydrocarbons. The inhibitor dissolves in water, shows excellent properties of preventing the formation of an emulsion of crude oil with reservoir water, and its use causes the separation of both phases: crude oil and water, during the standing process, within 15 seconds. It is recommended for continuous dosing, but can also be dosed intermittently. Dissolved in methanol, it can be used as a hydrate and corrosion inhibitor.
Treat Rate:
Pachem-CWR-1011-A is dosed continuously 10-100 ppm, recommended 20-50 ppm, based on the volume of crude oil and reservoir water, or periodically every few days in the amount of 100-200 ppm.
Before usage of the oil-dispersible-water-soluble corrosion inhibitor Pachem-CWR-1011-A to a particular crude oil mine, it is advisable to evaluate its functional properties using crude oil / reservoir water sampled at the crude oil mine.
Packaging:
Pachem-CWR-1011-A is available in 200 liter drums or 1000 liter IBCs. Other packagings are available on request.
