Scale Inhibitor
General Information:
Pachem-SI_7010 is an innovative scale inhibitor-dispersant used for water cooling installations in the refinery, mining and energy industries. Pachem-SI_7010 controls decomposition of scales including halite scales. It is effective in a wide range of parameters for the circulating water. It is widely used where the formation of inorganic salts, mainly calcium carbonates and halite scaling occurs.

Application:
Dosage of Pachem-SI_7010 is recommended to ensure the durability of steel elements of heat exchangers, which life without adequate protection against corrosion and stone is 0,5 - 2 years. The use of Pachem-SI_7010 will result in :
- extending the life of protected installations and devices
- limiting of repair and cleaning costs
- reduction of downtime during repair
Treat rate:
The scale inhibitor-dispersant Pachem-SI_7010 should be dosed continuously, in proportion to the amount of water supplied to the cooling system. It is recommended to keep the Pachem-SI_7010 concentration at 50-250 ppm in the cooling system (recommended dose is 100 ppm). There is not recommended the dosage above 250ppm. The dosing level depends on the quality of refilling water and the quality of the water in the cooling system. The higher the general hardness and the carbonate hardness, the higher is the dosage.
It is recommended to take water from the cooling system and rfilling water before dosing in order to carry out detailed tests and then select the dosage correctly. Before dispensing, the Pachem-SI_7010 package can be diluted with demineralized water.
Packaging:
Pachem-SI_7010 is available in 200 liter drums or 1000 liter IBCs. Other packagings are available on request.
